Petra Verkaik is an American adult glamour model, entrepreneur, and former actress. She was born in Los Angeles on November 4, 1966. Petra was born to a Dutch lineage consisting of an Indonesian mother and a Dutch father. She grew up speaking Dutch as a first language up until she was in third grade.

Career

Petra Verkaik started to blossom at the tender age of 14 when she was in high school. She had dreams and ambitions of becoming an actress or even a model. With that in mind, Petra left for the East Coast in 1985. She went back to California a year later and started taking acting classes. A photographer saw her attractive body attributes by chance while taking her headshot picture for her portfolio and sent her photos to Playboy magazine. Playboy was impressed and gave her an opportunity to pose for the renowned magazine. Petra Verkaik's nude debut for the magazine was in February 1985 when she appeared in Playboy's Great Playmate Hunt. In December of the same year, she bagged Playmate of the Month.

Her career as a nude model continued to flourish as she continued to feature in more than 70 Playboy magazines, videos, and special editions. She is well known for her huge pair of natural tits when topless. It is a rare attribute amongst Playmates, with most of them having artificial boobs. Perhaps the most distinguishable gift to her fans worldwide is posing for a video and a photo shoot as Lara Croft after the release of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' starring Angelina Jolie. Petra Verkaik has significantly represented Playboy from 1996 to 2010 in conventions and popularity shows with the most notable one being in a fan convention known as Glamourcon. She continued her career up until 2003 in November where she started pursuing other interests. She appeared on the general public's radar after she went to prom with a 17-year old boy known as Toby Hocking. Petra said that Topy was a son of a friend. This was a mid-winter prom in Tustin, California, at Foothill High School. She was only allowed to attend the event by the principal on condition that she would rock decent fashion wear- no revealing outfits like sheer dresses. She currently resides in Toluca Lake, California, as of January 2008.
