Christina Aguilera is an American television personality, singer, and songwriter. The birthplace of Aguilera is Staten Island in New York, having been born on 18th December 1980. In her tender age, Aguilera featured in "Star Search". and "The Mickey Mouse", both being the television series. Early Life

Aguilera is the daughter to Fausto Aguilera, a musician, and Shelly Kearns, a United States Army soldier. Due to the nature of her father's military service, her family kept shifting to different places including Japan. Aguilera stated that her father was cruel to them, but he denied these allegations. She started singing to let the world know about the household struggles she was going through under the care of her dad. The separation of her parents happened when she was 6. She went with her younger sister and mother to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania where her grandmother lived.

In 2012, Aguilera felt lonely for several years, and she desired to reconcile with her father. Growing up, she aspired to be a successful singer and, while growing up, she was locally referred to as" The little girl with the big voice". Aguilera would spend most of the time singing in local talents shows and parties. At 8, Aguilera won her first talent show when she sang "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)". Aguilera went to Rochester Area School District, Marshall Middle School, and North Allegheny Intermediate High School. However, due to bullying, Aguilera studied at home.

Career

Aguilera's career in singing peaked after releasing "Reflection" which helped her sign with RCA Records. Thus signing gave her a perfect opportunity to produce hit songs. She produced "Genie in a Bottle" in 1999 which became a major commercial success. Aguilera's album "Stripped" (2002) aroused reactions from her critics regarding the display of her various sexual fetishes. The performance of her single "Dirrty" depicts her as hot and sexy. She appears a topless performer, exposing most parts of her boobs. Some of her nude pictures taken in this video became viral featuring her almost naked.

"Back to Basics" was Aguilera's 5'th album which she released in 2006. The album was meant to reflect on the traditional styles of jazz, blues, and soul music. She also performed these styles in a modern twist.

Personal Life

Aguilera was involved romantically with Jorge Santos, a dancer, during "Christina Aguilera in Concert" tour. However, this relationship came to an end in September 2001. She started dating Jordan Bratman, a marketing executive, in 2003. In February 2005, Aguilera and Bratman announced their engagement and got married on November 19, 2005. Their marriage resulted to a son on January 12, 2008. However, their marriage ended in September 2010 after a legal divorce. By the end of 2010, Aguilera began a romantic relationship with Matthew Rutler, an assistant at "Burlesque". The two were arrested on 1st March 2011, for public intoxication in Hollywood. In February 2014, Aguilera got engaged to Rutler. She gave birth to their daughter in August 2014.
