Carmen Electra is an American glamour model, actress, singer, television personality, and dancer who rose to fame in the 90s. As of now, we are not quite sure what she has been up to. Early life

Born Tara Leigh Patrick, she became later know by her stage name Carmen Electra. She was born in Sharonville on April 20, 1972, to Patricia 8, Harry Patrick. Electra followed in her parents' footsteps soon attending modeling and singing classes. From there on she continued to climb her way up the entertainment ladder. She eventually met legendary singer Prince. He produced her debut album in 1991. It is from this point her fame started to materialize. Before long she became a household name in the 90s.

Career

Following her stint as Playboy model, much did not materialize from her debut album produced by Prince. However, she entered the Hollywood entertainment arena and got quite a few castings. She soon replaced Pamela Anderson, taking over the role of Lani McKenzie on Baywatch. 

A year later she became the host of MTV's Singled Out As time passed she continued to appear naked/topless in the Playboy magazine during the years 1997, 2003, 2009. She also landed small roles in movies such as An American Vampire Story and Good Burger. 

The model later appeared in the Scary Movie franchise acting alongside Dave Sheridan in 2000s Scary Movie. She also acted in 2006s Scary Movie 4 where she played in a different role. She also went on to co-star with Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller in 2004s Starsky and Hutch. In 2006 she appeared in the Date Movie, then Epic Movie. Electra acted in Meet the Spartans in 2007. In what seems to be her last movie role in 2008, the hot model appeared in the Disaster Movie. 

The talented actress also dabbled in some voice acting providing the animated voice for Robot Dix in the animated show, Tripping the Rift in 2005.

Carmen Electra also produced a few of her own exercise videos. Exercise equipment such as the Electra pole was also part of her business venture. Further, Electra has appeared in several advertising campaigns such as Maxim Men's-Hair Color in 2004, MAX-Factor Makeup and Ritz Camera-Centers in 2006.

In 2008 the former Playboy model made an appearance as the guest judge in season 8 of So You Think You Can Dance. In 2012 Carmen Electra also appeared in the same role on Britain's Got Talent.

Awards

The stunning actress has won the MTV Movie awards for her role as best kisser in Starsky and the Hutch. 

She received a nomination for the worst supporting actress Razzie Awards for Date Movie. The same award was also nominated to her for Scary Movie 4. Carmen Electra also received a nomination by Stinker Awards for the most annoying fake accent in 2005.

Personal Life

She had a very short-lived marriage to Basketballer, Dennis Rodman in 1998. Then, she married Dave Navarro in 2003. Their marriage ended in 2007. She was also engaged to Rob Patterson in 2008 but that ended somewhere along the line.

The actress is a contributor to a few charitable organizations. She has also had her fair share of controversies such as a lesbian sex tape in 2006. Now, we don't see or hear much about her in Hollywood. But, we suspect this hot actress is doing quite well with an estimated net worth of $16 Million.
